Yes, it's been a while. sorry. I’ve delayed posting about this.

Vidukon 2013 - Getting Involved

If you're interested in getting involved with the next con organization, please let us know asap by emailing at concom@vidukon.co.uk (whether you’ve been involved last time or not)

We are aiming for a con in Spring 2013. This may seem far away now, but con organization will start as early as June 2012. Before that, we have legaleez to sort out which is our priority right now and one of the element we need someone UK based to explore.

One thing I want to make clear is that there is no such thing as “I don’t know enough to help” or “I can’t do much so there’s no point in offering my help”. There is tons of things we need people for, and some of them don’t require lots of work and volunteering to make a show is already a lot, believe me.

That said, we do NEED people with active involvement and a current living in the UK to be part of the con com and help us run this thing, otherwise this won’t happen. That’s a fact. But the more of us involved, the less work for everyone :)

If you’re interested in anything, active involvement or not, please come forward and let us know, we will happily answer your questions about involvement and what that would entitles you to.

Registrations for Vidukon, for both attending and non-attending closes next week, Sunday the 20th of March.

To register, log on to the website and go here :)

Just to keep you updated., Registration for Vidukon 2011 (8-10th April, Cardiff bay) will most likely open on Monday, December 6th.

Spread the word and promote at will ! :)
