In case some of you missed it, this is a reminder that the con will have a "Vidder's choice" show, which will play a vid of your choice, from your catalogue, no matter how old. It doesn't have to be a premiere, it's ANY OF YOUR VID. a vid you'd like to see on the big screen at the con. :-) (more info here)
Attendees and Supporting members are welcome to submit. You have till March 31st to submit them. in any playable format. (Instructions are here)
If you have any question, comment away here :-)

Date: 2013-03-25 09:44 am (UTC)Ideally though, it'd be cool to submit before the 31st since the flow of upload for premieres might be big towards that date.

Date: 2013-03-30 07:31 pm (UTC)Also just wanted to check that it's okay to put Vidder Name as 'Nancy Blackett' - it's the name on the vid but 'odessie' was the username I registered with. (I've ended up with 2 names in fandom, complete pain, long story.) Sorry for the hassle! :)
(Great idea btw, wish I could be there to see them on the big screen!)

Date: 2013-03-30 08:08 pm (UTC)In the program, there's 2 ways your name appear:
- When one of your vid is listed in a show (VidName by Vidder)
- At the end of the program, all attending and supporting members are listed, usually with a website information (and I checked, we didn't put email last time, just LJ and/or website)
So you can choose whatever for your Vidder Name, but if it is different than the name you registered with, and someone wants to find you after seeing your vid, they will have more difficulty doing that since your name with contact/website info will be different.
So in conclusion, you don't have to put the same name in Vidder name for your vid and the name you registered with, but it's just more convenient if it's homogeneous. so it's up to you.
However, if you'd like me to change your BadgeName to "Nancy Blackett" in the progra as well, I can do that and update your registration, just let me know.
Hope that helps :)

Date: 2013-03-30 08:34 pm (UTC)I'm going to stick with Nancy Blackett to be consistent - it's the name I'd already given to the VJ for a vid in another show - but I *think* I've already changed my Badge Name to that as well? I did it right after registering. If you were able to check the name change has worked for the program that would be awesome, but if not don't worry about it - my fault for having a brain freeze when registering!
Gah, sorry to be such a pain. This is why I normally lurk rather than participate. :p
By the way, I think there might be a bit of a glitch in the website - when I checked my registration details just now, I noticed the Blog address was missing. When I enter it again and click 'Edit Profile', it says the changes have saved but the address vanishes again. Hopefully the info's gone through and it's just not appearing on the page, but just so you know!
