Welcome to the discussion post for the Best of CreaSpace vidshow, curated by BrokenMnemonic and Turbo.
The best vids of the last 12 months from the CreaSpace community, as voted for on the CreaSpace site.
Whether or not you attended or supported the 2019 con, join us in the comments to chat about this show.
If you haven't watched them yet, or you'd like to refresh your memory, some vids from this show are available to stream on our site - scroll down this page and click on the show title to see the vids alongside their descriptions.
Plus: A reminder, this year VidUKon is going entirely online, on 12-14 June! For £19.99 you can join us from your home for vidshows, panels, workshops and socialising. Check out this post for more information. We're also seeking brand-new, never-before-seen vids for our Premieres show. Anyone can submit a premiere, they can be any fandom/theme/style, and there is no minimum level of experience required. The deadline is May 10.

Date: 2020-04-17 05:06 pm (UTC)Stand-outs for me, personally:
"No Easy Way Out" (Rocky) was just lovely <3
"Beautiful Planet" (Blue Planet + others) was beyond beautiful - have watched it several times since and cried most times.
"Ovechkin 8" (NHL) - THANK YOU FOR THIS :D ! It's not how I usually prefer my hockey vids, which is with more feels, but it's so damn good. I appreciate how it showcases the physicality of hockey, and how it's as much a vid testement of the Stanley Cup Playoffs 2018 as it is a vid about Ovechkin. I have forced so many people to watch this :D
Best of CreaSpace is one of my favourite shows at VidUKon (as a two-time attendee aka still vidUKon newbie) <3

Date: 2020-04-21 09:40 pm (UTC)Beautiful Planet inspired one of the vids in this years show, according to the vidder - I'm intrigued to see what everyone thinks of it.
I liked No Easy Way Out, but I think my heart possibly belongs to Leap of Faith - I'd not seen Into the Spiderverse at that point, but it was still such a lovely vid to watch :)
