We’re going to be running a Vidding 101 on Friday as part of our extended programming (get us and our fancy extra hours!) and we’d really love to get some content ideas from people who’d be interested. If you’re attending, intend to participate via VirtUKon or planning on reading the notes afterwards? You totally count.
The first half of our panel will look at getting the editing program, source, clips and so on - the practicalities and legalities - as well as have a quick demo of some of the software we’re covering (which will be multi-platform freeware so far as possible).
The second half of our panel will cover more subjective areas, such as “Music and Video, AUGH HOW WHY?”
So! If you have any topics you'd like covered or questions you’d like answered, let us know in the comments.
If you’re wanting to start vidding, what sort of things would you like a firmer idea of? (Bearing in mind that the answer might actually be “witchcraft”)
If you’re a more experienced vidder, what tricks or aesthetics do you wish you’d known earlier?
We can’t promise to cover everything in the panel itself, but we will make every effort to put things in the notes, even if it’s just a link to somewhere with a way better explanation than we can provide.
