It's been a little over a week since VidUKon, so it seems like a good time to post up some of the feedback notes from the final panel of the year and the end-of-con feedback session. First up: panel notes!

Things That Have Happened/Are Happening

C-drama vids 100%

YT algorithms tightening and also PMs/comments are gone-ish (IIRC, PMs/DMs have gone, so conversations are now forced into comments)

General Feedback

Pronoun stickers are a good, and we should have them again
Interest in having a monthly vidshow post on the VidUKon Dreamwidth account for the shows from this year's con, possibly with links/embeds to the vids shown, to give a chance for more discussion of the vids and shows

Group Vidding Workshop

The shorter song worked well, although some groups vidded much faster than others
It may be a good idea to post up a "required reading list" of movies that are available as source prior to the con, to give people a chance to watch more of them if they want to.

Suggested Songs/Artists for next years song:

I'm conscious that things may have changed/gotten busier/become a chaotic vortex of despair since last year, but I haven't seen you on twitter much lately, and I thought I should mention that show and panel submissions are open until the 1st of March... not that I'm trying to tempt you, or anything *looks innocent*
