All new programming ideas for VidUKon 2019!

Yes, this is the place for you to bash out, brainstorm, collaborate, run away with, wow us all and fling suggestions for VidUKon 2019 panels and vidshows!

We always get more vidshows than panel ideas, so don’t forget to give those panels some love and as usual, we’re open to combos, new formats, workshops… whatever ideas you have, bring them here!

Veteran VJs are welcome and so are first-timers - if you'd like to put a vidshow together but don't know where to start, get in touch and we'll be happy to help. Priority will be given to attending members, but supporting members can put together vidshows for us as well.

Vidshow and panel submissions will remain open until March 4 2019.

I'm in no way qualified, but would love to see a panel on vidding still images/comic books. Hmmm or a vidshow for that matter... 🤔

I was thinking this toooo! Ahem, why aren't you qualified? I bet you know lots more than I do, you have experience with art edits, AND you read lots of comics. What else do you need to be qualified??

I'd be happy to pitch in on removing speech bubbles, etc, but when it comes to creating a good vid flow I've got bupkus.

Ah! Well, I did suggest both, so the not quite understanding goes both ways :p

With working double shifts, the time will be too tight for me to try and put something together this year. Might keep it in mind for next tho, if nothing happens with it.

I disagree - and I was in a group vidding workshop team with you, so I saw you scripting out vid thoughts, commenting on timelines and vid direction and feelings and generally being an all-round excellent vidder.

Fray's idea for a show about psychics from a couple of years ago still sounds good to me :) And a show about Sidekicks, which is what I misheard her suggestion as :P
